Love it! Sounds like you made more off this game than me, lol... I have a much better record when betting "manageable" amounts.. so I'm content with these mini-plays.. Done pullin' my hair out on this NFL shit.. Go figure my first week back in $10 unit fashion, I go 14-0.. lol

Good question. I typically won't be betting anything other than NHL. I decided I hate NFL after a really brutal start to this season, just don't know enough about the sport/players/teams etc. to wager consistently on it..

This week I made an exception because I had some extra coin in the Kitty because of NHL. Made this thread as way for me to track the week.

Used to have an NFL thread.. started out mega hot, was with a local book.. then blew it all sometime late last year, one huge week.. soooo many parlays for $50-$200 a pop.. and I believe it was New England that blew me away when they lost to SF (woulda won like $5,000 or something).. ended up blowing the whole BR on a nasty tilt after that...

So yea.. Not a big NFL guy, but this week turned out great haha.. Need to make sure I stay grounded if I play next week.. Tend to make better plays when I am clear headed and not playing for big amounts.

Probably make another thread like this for week 9... too late to make a season long thread so.. not the case in NHL though. that one will stay up for the year

Yea I thought about adding it into my NHL thread, but didn't want to sour the good rhythm I had going, as until this week.. NFL had been a profit wasteland for me...

But yea, as boring as $20 units sounded to me at first, with a big enough card and some multi-unit plays, that shit adds up fast and before you know it you're laying $200-$350 and still have more to add.. Getting used to the $20 units and am liking them a lot. Maxing out at 5x plays for $100.. feels like the perfect unit size..
