Panthers have not done enough to be giving 6 points on the road, they've already been upset as road faves twice this season at Buffalo and Arizona and Bucs QB Glennon actually looked good vs. Falcons and seems to be developing a nice rapport with VJax.

I agree with all that you are saying. But I think you are discrediting a few things. Glennon has played the Eagles and the Falcons. Two terrible defenses. Carolina's defense is very impressive, and purely observational (no statistics off the top of my head) I think they have a top 10 defense.

They will 100% bottle up whoever is running the ball. I do not think TBAY scores over 17.

And keep in mind Panthers three wins have come vs. the Giants, Vikings and Rams. Yes Tampa Bay is on that same level or maybe even slightly worse (3 of their 6 losses were by 3 points or less), but this line would make Carolina almost a double-digit favorite on a neutral field, and I simply disagree with that.

I agree LT. I think the injury of Doug Martin may have inflated this line a little to much due to publics perception of the young RB

I got bucs +7 on Bovada yesterday. I don't love the bet, but I grabbed it for a very small play in case it would fall to under a TD.

Carolina opened between -6 and -7, with -6.5 being the most popular number. The line, for the most part, has moved in Tampa Bay’s directions, as most sports books in Las Vegas were dealing 6 as of Thursday morning.Injury report: Injuries are more of a concern for the Buccaneers than the Panthers. Martin, who's the focal point of their ground game, will be tough to replace. Also, left guard Carl Nicks (foot) is out for Thursday's game. Free safety Dashon Goldson (knee) was limited on Monday and Tuesday.The Panthers are in better shape from a health perspective, though defensive tackle Dwan Edwards (hamstring) did miss practice on Monday and Tuesday.

Don't expect Ware back, although he is closer to doubtful than definitely out. Murray will probably go but he has been limited in practice and Dallas might monitor his snaps.

I see Cincy pass rush giving Geno fits, and Smith has been "consistently inconsistent" alternating very good and awful games.

haha touché. But I kinda agree. Panthers have the 2nd best defense in the NFL. that was as close to a lock as ive played all year except maybe Giants on Monday.

I like your take on the Lions and Bengals though. The rest Im not so sure about but best of luck. I consider you one of the most knowledgable cappers since Ive joined.

I think you're spot on with the early selections of the Lions -3 and Bengals (I took them at -4 -115) as the two best plays on the board this week. Agreed on the Browns as well. I'd be more tempted by the Jags 1H +10, I think, hoping for the Niners to start slow in the early east coast game.

I don't like the Dolphins ML at all. Spread maybe. I also think the Vikings are too disjointed right now to do much offensively so they're really going to need to pressure Rodgers all day to stay within the number.
