DET/CIN opened at 47. Closed at 45.5 at Pinny; 47 at Bovada. Top public total play of the day. Yet it's 24-24 and we are barely into the fourth quarter.
WTF?

I had the over 47 the over 48 and both 2nd half overs as well. Lions was 23 and bears 21.5. SQUARE AND EASY AS FUK!

Here's another one: Bovada at 57 for Colts/Broncos. pinnacle at 54.5. Arguably the biggest public over of the year.
Already 17 points in the first quarter.
WTF are these sharp books doing?

Pinny was offering the 1Q over 10.5 at +108.
These books are clueless.

There's going to be 100 points in this game.
Nice call by the books. Burying themselves.

I thought this was finally going to be an under game for Denver. they may need to set a game in the high 60s to get an under by the looks of this team. I hope this changes tonight though. I need the under

2h odds are ridiculous. I looked, expecting to bet Den (I often bet the team losing at half if I expect a competitive game). Bovada has it as Den-9 and o/u 28.5.
I can't touch either on the sides I want. I think the only way to bet would be Ind and/or under, but I'm not touching it

Overs the last two weeks are about 65 percent in the nfl. I think the books place themselves do they get equal money on each side so actually we are the dummies.
Remember the books always win.

You honestly think the books are "winning" after high-scoring games like this one and Detroit/Cincy?

Comb the threads and see how many fall for the unders each week. If the books were losing they'd be raising them. It's not about them being right or even close. It's about getting equal coin on each side.
Of course there are misreads and you're right they lose.... but for everyone of those there's one where they fleece us. Or probably two or three. Books couldn't stay on business if they were losing with any consistency.

Given the way these two teams move/operate and their personnel, the 54.5 might have been the dumbest total I've ever seen for a sporting event. Ever.

As strange as it sounds Bovada has turned into a sharp book. They offer lines different then the rest of books especially with soccer. Look at soccer bets daily then compare books and see who wins. Bovada is usually the winner. Not a soccer fan but Bovada had some team at -110 and -120 when the rest of the books had it at +140 and -180. The +140 team won easily with a 2-0 victory.
Overs have been hitting all year. They will probably start to adjust totals to represent that. I have been making mostly over bets too, because they are making the lines too low. Before this year was mostly a under better. I am great at over and unders went 5 of 6 (dam Bills/Dolphins game went barely over unless you waited to get it). 1st half was points over turnovers and 2nd half was low scoring go figure. If Miami's defense could have won the bet for me.
Only 8 out of 13 games went over so far. Much easier to find under value IMO.
Bills/Dolphins Under
Ravens/Steelers Under
SF/Tenn Over (Amazingly went over)
STL/Carolina Over (Looked under was going to win it for awhile)
Cinncinati/Detroit Over ( Over looked like a lock)
Green Bay/Cleveland Under
