Why is Steelers only 2.5 home dog Sunday night?
Why? the steelers fan and backers r still not off the bandwagon?
i know they have home field, but off a short week after a Monday night road game?
This offense only scored 17 Pts in 2 games against titans and bengals, I would be totally surprised if they can get 10 pt in the game on that tough bears d. Also the steelers defense couldn't stop the two mediocre bengals backs and the Cincincy TEs also ran wild on them. jay cutler and Matt forte will light them up Sunday night in Heinz field. expect this line to go up to 3.5/4 soon. And still a easy cover by bears as they win by at least 7.

In all fairness they looked bad last night on offense but the 10 pts was deceiving. Aside from the moronic tripping call by the zebras they also had 2 turnovers in the red zone. Even if all 3 possesions only yield fg's that's still 19 pts. Add to that maybe Heath returns to give Ben a reliable weapon, they still bring the D, and Pitt home field which is still tough regardless of recent play. Looks like a trap and books begging for Bears money in my opinion.

Good point mcmurphy, but I also think the steelers d is a little overrated bc the bengals should have put up 30 on them had Andy dalton not miss some throws.

Some truth to that as well for sure. Been saying it for a long while but this Bungles offense which is pretty loaded does not deliver like it should and Dalton is largely to blame and the reason they will not succeed most likely in Jan. aside from bonehead Marvin lol!

Yea, dalton will never be an elite qb. But cutler and that bears o line has been very good this year. Especially that final drive he put up against Minnesota, that's clutch. Think this will be a easy bears win. But no play for me yet bc something about this line scares me.

I'm not sure they could have opened it any higher.

Steelers have played poorly and injuries are obvious. So far this year, they suck. Still have Palo and Big Ben. Fans could turn on them if they fall behind quick. Bears looking strong, but all games have been tight. Now they hit the road against a desperate team.

I had this game around a pick and it will be interesting to watch line movement. Considering it's a Sunday night game, I would expect the line to move to 3, maybe 3 1/2, by kick-off. I'm seeing Bears -2 1/2 juiced @ -118 right now, where I play.

Breaking this down a little furthur: Bears O-Line has looked better than expected, keeping Cutler clean. I believe he has only been sacked once, which is amazing since he was sacked over 30 times last year. Cutler still can make bad decisions, but I like the impact Trestman has had so early. Cutler is definetly getting rid of the ball quicker. Also, impressed how he's spreading the ball around. Last year Marshall was his only target. This year, Jeffrey is back healthy and Bennet looks like a great addition from the Giants. would like to see Earl Bennet get some balls thrown his way.

Hester was amazing last week and is a major threat anytime he touches the ball. Forte is really coming into his own and is a double threat running or catching passes out of the backfield. Bears defense same as last year. Bend don't break and capitalizing on mistakes, fumbles , int's and pick 6's.

I don't know if the Steelers can beat the Bears if they can't run the ball. I don't believe the Steelers will have success on the ground against the Bears. Considering juiced line, I'm leaning Bears ML -145. Might add a little more on the spread as long as it stays below 3. Robbie Gould is also a great weapon for the Bears and his leg could come into play. That guy is Gold. gl

Pivotpoint, don't take the ml at -145 if the -2.5 is only -118. I agree with all ur points and cutler has been clutch and playing way better than dalton this yr. I would pound the line had it open at bears giving more than 3.

agree 1000%. steelers will not lose 3 in a row and not for nothing but the bears had trouble with the vikings and ponder at home. they should have beaten the vikings by the -6 and instead the game was sweated out.

cincy only won monday night because they were home.
