It's Pre-BYE week for Packers and Panthers..............
........do you think this scheduling situation has any relevance to the performance of NFL teams?

since '08 Road Dogs facing a Pre-BYE opponent are 29-28 SU and 38-18-1 ATS. lean to Giants +1?

since '08 Home Favs facing a Pre-BYE opponent are 29-21 SU and 23-25-2 ATS, Home Dogs facing Pre-BYE opponent are 4-11 SU and 7-17-1 ATS. lean to Packers +1/-1?

in 2012 Pre-BYE Home Favs finished 6-10 SU and 4-12 ATS.

i'm not suggesting anything, but looking to hear any opinions regarding the Pre-BYE week angle.

Panthers likely don't know wether to look ahead, behind, above or below.

It would be interesting to see how teams do that have early Bye weeks, say weeks 4-6. Season is just starting and guys are already about to get a week off, I wouldn't think they need it as bad as teams that get a Week 10-12 Bye. I would think this trend gets stronger as the season goes on.

Winless teams that are Post-BYE Dogs from week 6 out are near perfect ATS.

trust me the Panthers NEED this bye week bad.

it will give the new coach a week to prepare his team.

If the Panthers lose the Giants, Ron Rivera will be fired on monday.

Panthers are 0-4 SUATS in and out of the BYE under Rivera. Panthers and Bills also have the task of facing 3 Post-BYE teams this season.
