Hello - I was going to start a thread myself about this - but here is is!
At the time of writing (8th September 2013, 18:35 GMT) we have:
Jacksonville v Kansas - 1 x safety
New York Jets v Tampa Bay - 1 x safety
Pittsburgh v Tennessee - 1 x safety
I wagered on NFL all last season and did not see a single safety
A Safety in a game is quite significant for me as my wager strategy is based on totals - and bookies normally offer their totals based on the standard scores of 3 and 7 - whereas a safety is worth 2
I wonder if these 3 x safeties are just a co-incidence - or whether this represents some new kind of strategy the NFL teams are looking at this season.
