I had a lot of success with these at the end of last year, and this year I'm doing them right from the start. I don't always follow the so called "conventional teaser wisdom" but I have a way of thinking and doing things that works for me. If you're gonna make any negative comments about my picks or anything like that then so be it, but it's not going to change anything so you may as well fukk off if you do so. Anyway, lets get started. For week 1, I'm going with: Ravens +18, Cardinals +15.5, and Cowboys +7.5. I think the Ravens are way undervalued in this spot especially with no Von Miller for the broncos. I love the Cardinals against the Rams for many reasons. They finally have a bona fide QB in Palmer, so Larry Fitz will be relevant again. Their O line will be better. Their D is solid with Patrick Peterson, who may be the most exciting player in the league. I just don't see how the Rams are that much better than the Cardinals. They'll cover 4.5 let alone 14.5. Lastly I like the Cowboys. There's 2 things I've noticed about them. 1: They always play a super competitive opening game of the season. 2: When they lose, it's usually by 3 points or less. In my eyes this team is solid. With a healthy Sean Lee and a new D coordinator, they're set on D. I think Dez Bryant is going to have a monster season, which will open up things for the whole offense. Well there's my week 1 picks and analysis.
