Why do you guys try to cap preseason? Blind bet .25u on every underdog ML (except when my Panthers are favored, I just can't bet against them - had over instead last night).

Just enough to keep it interesting (due to # of games) and more times than not it turns a profit. Good start this season.

To steal from a post here at SBR since I couldnt find the actual stat:

Looking now at overall ATS trends, the underdogs are 439-366-28, 54.5 percent ATS in all preseason games since 2000

That's a small profit but why do that when a large % of those are winning SU. Just look at this week's results. I'd be very surprised if I lose money this preseason after this week.

(Again - used some judgement in the Miami/Jax game since it was a PK but since Miami was technically favored I bet against the trend. Also, I won't bet against my Panthers)

Safe to say this one is over... 13-4 SU for the week (inc HOF)

+13.04u if you bet 1U (and had the two changes I posted above)
+3.26u for me for the week (.25u per game) - not bad considering no real work was involved.

Lets see how Wk2 goes... making a judgement call on Detroit since books are split but since they opened as the dog we'll go that way.
