It depends on the structure and scoring of your league, but getting Brees or Peterson is a good start no matter what. Last year I ended up taking Calvin Johnson late in the first round and ended up finishing last in my league even though he had a record breaking year. So, WRs seem to be better to take in the mid rounds and it's better to take RBs early especially if there's a "flex" position because it seems like RBs score more pts in that spot. Also, snagging a top QB should be a priority early in the draft, don't draft your kicker until the last pick and defense next to last. TE can be tricky, depending on the scoring system, but in most scoring systems TE should be a low round pick.Comment
