Fox is solid. Too much importance is being put on this one game. Remember he took a Carolina team that had no business making the playoffs to the Super Bowl and only lost by 3 to the Patriots. They were dreadful when he took over, now he has them upset with a 2nd Round exit. That's a good coach to me.

The Panthers were simply not ready to play yesterday. I don't blame Fox, though. Look at the trend from the past 3 or 4 years. First round bye has been more of a liability than an advantage in recent history.

I don't see the trend continuing today with a veteran team like the Giants or Steelers, though. I'd worry about the Steelers with Tomlin not knowing how to get through a playoff bye week, except I think the weather & fans will wake them up soon enough, if not the veteran leadership on the team. SD is capable, but the Steelers D will dictate today's game. In any case, I'm sticking with the ML, rather than laying the points.
