I think that everyone and their mother knows that I'm on this play.
Let's get it.

#7Very true.I will say that if Flacco does it,it will be more impressive.Ben completely leaned on Jerome Bettis and Flacco doesn't have that luxury.McGahee is good but it's not even close IMO!Originally posted by xxxvincefirst qb to do it? i think ben allready did that stuffComment -

#8Sorry bud but you thought wrong. Big Ben beat the Jets 20-17 in OT in '04 and then lost 41-27 to New England. Flacco would be the first to win two playoff games ever as a rookie.Originally posted by xxxvincefirst qb to do it? i think ben allready did that stuff
There has only been three playoff wins by rookie QB's
Flacco 27-9 VS Miami (09)
Big Ben 20-17 VS Jets in OT (04)
Shaun King 14-13 VS Redskins (99)Comment -

#11I may have been wrong on the assessment that Ben did it but I assume you can read sir.Again.If Flacco takes the Ravens to the SB,it will be more impressive than when Ben did it.Ben had a lot more talent on the offensive side of the ball.Flacco does not.The Ravens rely heavily on their defense which may end up leading to their demize.I mean this with all sincerity scotty, but do you know what I mean now?Case in point:The Ravens only allowed 13 points in the first meeting and lost.At some point, you have got to put some points on the board.Originally posted by scotty0129What are you talking about?Comment -

#13I was leaning on the Ravens when this line first came out, but with the public being on the Ravens and this line not moving an inch I think the smart boys realize this: Tennessee is a darn good team playing at home with an experienced and solid QB in Colliins.
The win by the Ravens against Miami was impressive...I loved the Ravens in that game....but Miami was NOT that good. There is a BIG difference between the Titan defense and the Dolphin defense. There is a BIG difference playing in Miami compared to playing in Tennessee.
Remember, even though the Dolphins had committed a few turnovers they were driving in the game to get close but a large loss on a botched reverse really screwed them. That was the game.
I doubt you see Collins have as bad of a game as Pennington...but he could. Tennessee will make Flacco beat them and I don't see it happening.
Tennessee is strong against the run. They can also run the ball. The Ravens have made it as far as they can with a strong defense and an offense led by a rookie.
Tennessee by a TD or more.Comment -

#22Take a look at Chad Pennington's stats for the year, and then look at Kerry Collins' stats. Pennington had a better year statistically and look what the Ravens did to him. He looked like Rex Grossman last week. I don't think there's such a thing as a "sure" bet, but my $ is on Baltimore and the points.Originally posted by SlateHe will throw 5 interceptions, All of a sudden Tenn is no good, I am on Tenn easily. #28Yep. I looked it up, Scotty is right. I thought the same thing about Marino, that he did it as a rookie. His second year was his big year.Originally posted by LT ProfitsThanks Scotty.
So Marino went to Super Bowl his second year.
Same with Big Ben. He went 13-0 regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs his rookie year. But he went to win the Super Bowl in his second year.
Rookies just don't have much luck as QBs, which makes Flacco's run this year that much more impressive. I'll dismiss anyone who talks about the Raven's D, because they've had plenty of veteran QBs over the years and still couldn't get it done. Flacco has the gift.Comment -
