My money is against Peyton in the playoffs. Repeating as AFC regular season champs is a distinct possibility.

Yeah cause Peyton gave up the 70 yd bomb with 30 seconds left vs Flacco

Early reports say Peyton's arm is stronger than last year. This might be one of the most talented teams in NFL history imo. They might have too many guys over 30 but if everything pans out they could roll everyone like NE did a few years ago....18-0 or 17-1 going into the SB. Cincy should be really good. Balt will have the SB comedown season and lost alot of leadership. Nobody has anything near the monster Elway has put together in the AFC.
I really really like Montee Ball too out of Wisconsin. He says he's always studied film on Terrell Davis and modeled himself after him. I think he'll have a big season because Peyton at 90% with that receiving core is going to keep the safeties way downfield.

Just another reason to fade the Broncos in the postseason. John Fox is as lukewarm as Peyton in the playoffs, maybe worse.

I wouldn't bet any Denver futures either....not really worried about Manning but too many other guys over 30....Champ, Welker, Jammer, etc. If they get thru injury wise though...this team has twice as much talent as anyone else in the AFC. Denver vs Atlanta, SF, Seattle, or GB

We've seen many times how loading up on free agents doesn't work, just ask the Eagles, it ruined their team.

Peyton is only getting 4-1, Brady&Rodg 6-1, Brees 10-1. I'd rather take a shot with Brees with the better odds, even though all 4 have about an equal shot, it's whoever can pile up the most stats. Another thing to consider is Brees might be forced to put up numbers more than Peyton who has a better defense and might be handing the ball off more often than not in the 4th quarter.

But it is not the same. Only manning is the big FA. the rest of the big players were drafted.Plus it worked last year
