#2I can't say I haven't given it some thought but I'll most likely play the total if I play this game. I just don't see Arizona being quite as effective on the east coast and against a pretty good Carolina pass D.Comment -

#5Nope, I think Panthers win this game by more than 10. But then again I've been a fan of Carolina since the expansion so go figure..Comment -

#6I guess it depends on if Bolden is playing...that's a big loss for them not only on the field but mentally. This wouldn't be a back breaker but I wouldn't discount it either.Comment -

#7I have to take the points (+10) on this one...
the ML (+345?) is tempting but I think CAR to squeak out of this one 24-20.Comment -

#8I am staying away. Remember that Carolina was 8-0 at home with an average winning margin of double-digits, and Arizona's troubles in the ET time zone have been well documented. Still, -10 is too much to give. The only side play I MAY consider here is Carolina 1H.Comment -

#10Zona played them tough when they played them during the season. They were actually up 17-3 at one point. I'll be taking the 10 points and maybe a little on the ML.Comment -

#12Arizona played Carolina close early in the season, and probably should have won that game (they were up 23-17 late), but the zebras gave the Panthers a TD, even though Steve Smith stepped out of bounds at about midfield. The Coleman crew lets almost everything go, which is fine with me, but ignoring that may cross the line. So the Cards can play Carolina closer than most people would think. Arizona was up 17-3 and dictated the game. But Carolina has grown a lot since then (Arizona has not), as reflected in a doubling of the spread compared to the earlier game.
It wouldn't surprise me to see an evenly matched game, until all of a sudden Arizona gives up a quick two scores, that will not only change the momentum, but decide the game. This has been their weakness for years, and they haven't addressed it. They have a hard time defending a lead (probably the same air that went out of the balloon after clinching the division). They will dominate and then suddenly collapse. It goes way back. Who doesn't remember Denny Green's outburst after a late MNF collapse that gifted the game to Chicago? Until then Arizona had been in complete control. They did it last week against Atlanta (game from 14-3 to 14-17 right before halftime), they did it earlier against Dallas (a quick 10 pts at the end to send the game into OT), and they did it against Carolina. This season they have shown that they can overcome this type of collapse at home, but not on the road. So I'll either add the Carolina ML to a parlay, or I'll wait for halftime to bet on Carolina if the Cardinals have the early lead. There should be live betting opportunities late in the game as well.Comment -

#15Carolina is the play. Arizona played well last week at home, but I expect Carolina to ram it down AZ's throat with the Williams and Steward RB combo and play good enough D to cover 9.5 points. This game may turn into a blowout.Comment -

#18Hate to say I told you so.. 10 Points is always way too much to give a team in the playoffs. You don't think Arizona heard all week they had ZERO chance of winning? I know it's not over yet, but they look like they'll easily cover.Comment -

#19Warner was hit hard on the first series of 2H. He didn't look good on the sideline. Comes back and throws a ridiculous interception. A sharper opponent would take advantage, but Delhomme gives it right back. Looks like Panthers bought into the negative Arizona hype. They're not close to playoff intensity.Comment -
