Early lean: Chargers. Last game (10-11) won't mean a thing, but it's nice to see the Chargers swinging by here after already paying back the Colts and Broncos.

Roethlisberger left last game with concussion. Could still be woozy.

Not having a strong running with LT might be a problem for San Diego. Even with Rothliesburger not at 100%, the Chargers might not be able to move the chains enough to keep their suspect Defense off the field. Pittsburger is going to have more chances offensively in this game.

If LT was in this game I would like SD chances, but I have seen way too many playoffs. If you don't have a strong running or Defense you will not get far in the playoffs. Sproles would have to run wild against that Steelers D to have a chance here.

Only reason the last game was remotely close was that the Steelers committed close to a record number of penalties for them ... they doubled up the yardage against the Bolts, Parker ran for 100+, Ben R threw for 300+ and, to top it all off, the Bolts are 1-3 on the East Coast, coming off a hard-fought OT game against the Colts and will now have to fly cross country for the game, to be played in 20 degrees or less (perfect SD weather) ...

This game will only be as close as the Steelers allow it to be ...

Stillers should have that game. They shot themselves in the foot that last time they played SD with their season high penalties. I expect it to drop from -6 to -3 or -4. The Chargers already got their playoff miracle. They don't stand a chance traveling East, no West coast teams do. Not to mention the tender SoCal feet entering frozen Pittsburgh cold. Don't think Steelers fans will be waving those piss towels? They haven't won a playoff game since Bettis retired. Steelers will be ready. Even Leftwich could win this one.
