    ATLANTA @ ARIZONA
ARIZONA at home (even though they arent selling out) will win with the QB being expierenced. Sure they looked like shit the past couple of games but i dont trust Atlanta away from home. Arizona will keep Matt Ryan off the field and win in a close one.

    Arizona +1

    INDY @ SD
SD at home is my pick. They are riding a streak (never bet against the streak). If they dont beat themselves, they have just as many weapons any team. (NOT a big rivers fan but hes a great competitor) Banking on the home field advantage as well (Payton has done well on the road but not like he does at home). If this was a regular season game i would prob pick Indy, but just being a playoff game and knowing paytons ride doesnt always end at the superbowl, i think this year it ends earlier than most would think. And if Indy does win its a late field goal to win by 1 or 2. (sought of like the TCU game this year something told me to take the ML)

SD +3 (took the hook for a .5 pt)

    BALT @ MIAMI
Miami is another team most would disagree with me. Balts D scares me but Miami always seems to keep things close. I think Balt will be out coached (like the jets were) especially with the big tuna puting in his 2 cents. Chad can brake down game film and i think he can work with his supporting cast. This will be close till the fourth qrt where with a few lucky breaks and the home crowd advantage miami wins this outright

    Miami +3

    PHILLY @ MINN
Philly at Minnesota. This ones alittle tricky. Minneosta played the giants tough through the first half which the giants were playing most top personal, but i do believe B. Jacobs is a key ingredient and he was sitting last game. I'm not putting any stock into the second half of that game, being the giants knew this wasn't a do or die for them so stretching for that extra yard sometimes doesnt happen when not needed. Vikings are playing well as of late, but B. Westbrook will be the x factor for Philly to role and role big. This one wont be close after the coin flip.

    Philly -3

GL to all (who picked the same as i) the rest of ya GL in future games.

Going 2-0 yesturday was a treat especially after getting killed by Utah the day before (helped the hurt with a second half play).

I still stand by todays picks......but as an added teaser i feel a pretty strong play would be the Dolphins +2.5 1st half . I'm not a big half bettor but with the limited action being its the playoffs i figured i'd throw one in. The books try to tease you into thinking "baltimore can cover a field goal" but if they thought so it would be at 3". You can get it at a good price at +105 so it can be a good way to start the game off right. If Balt is going to win its because they are going to wear the dolphins down and that wont show until mid 3rd qtr. If the dolphins are able to hold a lead their momentum will carry them right through the game and baltimores frustrations will show with untimely penalties and mental mistakes. Having this played in Miami is the biggest factor in my book and can make all the difference, after the game you can ask a rookie quarter back.

Yesturday proved football is a team sport. Now Payton and Matt can look at their individual effort trophies all off season. Don't get me wrong, they are both unbelievable players, and actually both seem to be team players but it just goes to show being mvp of the league and rookie of the year doesnt guarantee victory. By the way how many sacks did DE John Abraham (atlanta sack leader) have yesturday?? I'll give you a hint it looks like an egg. Double team ray lewis in key plays and let chad do his thing.

If the Philly team that showed up against dallas shows up in Minn then we have nothing to worry about. I just think even if philly makes some mistakes their offense always has the potential of coming back. Brian Westbrook, like i originally said is the key to victory here, if they can establish the run and be effective, then with less pressure on donovan he will shine as well (not the most acurate passer playing the game lol). If its late in the game and they need donovan to make it happen through the air look for a pick six or a brett farve type interception......i'm banking on philly ending this one early and watching philly literally run away with this game

GL to all (who betthe same as I) all others good luck on future games

ok so went 2-2 so far for playoffs including dolphins 1st half play (hate those halves).

Philly -3 is still the strong play, even though its said greg lewis was taken off the practice field in a cart.

Even going to take philly 2nd qtr -2.5 for a small play and take momentum into locker room for half time (just following the balt story earlier today)...GL to all.....GO EAGLES

not doing well with halfs and qtrs...but for two small plays i'll take

            philly -1.5 2h

            under 21 2h

both very small plays... the big play is still on philly -3 game

not a bad start to the playoffs which i believe is the best football to bet on. Too much at stake for anyone to pull a fast one, plus too many eyes on the games.

              3-1 (games) +9 units
              2-2 (half & qtrs) -1.5 units
              0-0 (props)

                WEEK 2 : NFL PLAYOFFS PLAYOFFS : 3-1 Games 2-2 halfs / Qtrs

                Tenn G -2.5 3 units
                Tenn 1H -1 2 units

                Ariz G +10.5 3 units

                NYG G -4 3.5 units

SD G +7 10 units (maybe more come game time)

                SD 1H +3.5 5 units

No big write ups. Check injury reports, and how teams fared against teams similar to their oppents.

Balt @ Tenn : Basically if Balt was playing any other team then Miami who had no run game they would be sitting this one out and watching from home. Miami proved short 10 yd boring pass plays is the way to drive down the field on a team that can stop the run and who has a great secondary. Miamis problem was when they got close to the end zone the field got shorter, pennington was still throwing feathers. The same won't be said for Collins plus he always posses the threat of the deep ball. I think Balt has come as far as they can on their rookie QB. Tenn scores first and never looks back.

                19-9 (alot of FGs)

Arizona @ Carolina: I bought a half point and think its too much for Carolina to cover. Carolinsa probably wins but its closer than most think. Jake i think throws too many picks and i think arizona controls (doesnt stop ) the run. I look for a high scoring game. Just don't see a 10 point difference.

31-24 (Carolina moves to the next round)

Philly @ NYG My big X factor is Brandon J will play and he will be effective for the first half. After that its up to Ward and company to take the bulk of the work. Donovan will play ok, but being in NY and playing in a tight game or possibly always from behind he will start to throw his imfamous 1 hop passes to his recievers.

30 - 17 it will be close till 4th qtr when the real team will shine and the G-Men will be victorious moving to the next round *** Also took G-Men for -210 on ML for 5 units just incase they dont cover the spread.

SD @Pittsburgh : So the west coast teams dont travel well out east.....personally when its the playoffs i dont think east coast west coast matters. Home field? Thats a diff story. I feel Pitt has the HF advantage for sure but keeping this short and simple i just think 7 points is alot for a team that doesnt have an explosive offense. Pitt always seems to find a way to get it done, but SD handles the blitz well and if can churn up a 7 or 10 point lead they should do ok on covering the spread I can see the game starting out... SD puting up the 1st score. Ben throws one he wishes he had back...and after that its field goal city for both teams.

20 -17 Pittsburgh wins but doesnt cover.

Alot of people going to be chasing come sunday night....the fav always looks like the good pick.....be smart and take the points!!!!

SD BIG PLAY OF THE WEEKEND!! Especially 1st qrt play (when it comes out)

PS New York born not a big fan of any teams here. No heart felt picks here. There are two things i love in this world

Myself and the hundred dollar bills in my pocket!!
