Green Bay 1st quarter -3

I would think that the GB offense will have been tormented with the idea that they do not want to be the only team to lose to Detroit. Regardless of how the game goes I have a feeling in the 1st quarter GB will be primed to score against the porous Lion defense.

Not disagreeing with you..... but just playing devils avocate here.

The Lions seem to play better in the first half of games than the second half.
They were losing to Indy 7-3 in the 1st Q (and GB is NOT INDY)
They were beating Minnesota 3-0 in the 1st Q and 6-3 at the half
They were beating TB 17-0! in the 1st Q (lost 20-38)
They were beating Carolina 7-0 in the 1st Q
They were beating Jax 7-3 in the 1st Q
They were beating Wash 7-3 in the 1st Q
They were only down 2-0 in the 1st Q the first time they played Min and were winning 3-2 at the half

BUT AT HOME they were down to GB 7-0 the first time they played.
I think it's a safe bet. I agree...... Green Bay has nothing left to play for.... except to avoid being THAT TEAM that Detroit beats.

Thanks for the historical info that was what I was looking for.. It may still be a valid bet, but now I think it is much less a certainty when you look at other games.

I don't know.. the last few times I have watched Detroit they just seem so high school. They look so bad I am shocked they can get any points at all.
