    How about this strategy?
Instead of a straight up bet, do a parlay with your choice for the straight up bet and money line for the following

    Green Bay
    Atlanta
    Baltimore
    Tampa Bay

All these teams are double digit favorites and I think they at least win. So, basically you are just increasing the payout if your straight up bet wins. Too risky?

Bro as a Packers fan lemme just tell you to stay far far away from this game, especially betting Packers ML. This team has no heart, the defense, except for Woodson it seems, doesnt even give a damn anymore. Now, in reality, the Lions are PROBABLY gonna get beat pretty bad since they are just so indescribably bad, but betting the Packers at this point is just dumb.

Also, the way Tampa is playing, I would not be shocked at all to see Oakland pull out an upset there. I'm loving Oakland + the points right now, but even on an ML bet, the Raiders might win the game straight up.

All in all, unless you have some sort of genius strategy nobody has ever heard of, stuff like this will almost always backfire. ESPECIALLY considering the teams you have listed there.

Save your money and bet on something you feel safer about. I like NE -6 and NYG +7.

Thanks for the feedback. I do think the packers at home beat Detroit and and even cover. They have nothing else to look forward to and I seriously doubt that any team that is capable of doing so, will want to end the season by being Detroit's first victim. The packers played well against Chicago and if it hadn't been for the blocked field goal, they would have won. I seriously doubt that Detroit will put up much of a fight in the cold.

The raiders may cover but there is that whole west coast team traveling to to east coast thing. I think Tampa prevails in the end. Bills are more than happy to play spoiler as they demonstrated last week in Denver. Giants have nothing to play for so that would be a real crap shoot. If any thing, I would go with the Vikes because they will be playing for #3 seed.

Yeah man, you're right about the Packers being the better team and what not. However I disagree on a few points. The Lions are grown men, they are playing for their dignity and pride this weekend. It is their Super Bowl. On top of that, the Packers have ZERO heart, ZERO hunger, and ZERO desire to win any games. I mean, look at all the crap they have pulled this year, how long do I have to suffer They let the Tampa game slip away cause of the D sleeping as usual. Then the defense allowed inexperienced Matt Ryan to come into Lambeau and win. Then comes heartbreaking defeat after heartbreaking defeat. We should have defeated TEN and saved our season, what happens? The D falls asleep and lets Kerry Collins do what he wants to us on the last drive to force OT. Then the O marches down the field in Minnesota only to watch Crosby blow the GW FG. Then the only strength of the D, the secondary, gets exposed and humiliated against Nawlins. Then Rodgers does what he has to do to win against CAR, and the D blows it again. AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF. Rodgers and the O continually do what they need to do and are forced into desperate situations by our poor D and we lose heartbreakers to HOU, JAX, and then the Minnesota game repeats itself in Soldier Field.

As you can see, like I said, the team has no desire or hunger to win. Well, Rodgers&Co do, but the Defense does not. TIME AND TIME again, the defense will perform well enough to win a game and then on the clutch drive where we need them most, they completely blow it and hand the victory to the other team. Now, I am not saying the Lions are going to win by any means, and the Packers bet may hit, but I'm just saying it is WAAAY to risky to bet on this pathetic team anymore.

As for your other points, the Bills beat a horrible Broncos team. No way they do it again against a Patriots team who has found their rhythm and a newfound swagger. And you're wrong on the NYG-MIN game. NYG has a LOT to play for. As I said in another thread a few minutes ago, the Giants won a Super Bowl based on their newfound confidence from the last game of the season against the Pats. Coughlin will clearly, IMO, play all the starters this week, and the Giants will be in full force trying to win this game. They will stack the box all day long and allow the Vikings to throw the game away. Then the Giants will pound the ball up the middle due to the absence of Pat Williams.
