    Leans for Sunday 12/28/08
Oh my, what good games we have on tap for Sunday. First off i would like to list my plays in order of importance

    Early games:

Green Bay no line This one will turn into a laugher
Atlanta-15 yes this will happen with no problems
Jets-2.5 Miami doesn't like it cold
    New Orleans+3.5 (buying the hook)

    Late game:

San Diego-8.5 Denver is about to meet the buzz saw and watch playoff games from home

Now I will provide write ups for these games as the week goes on, but these are my plays for this upcoming weekend

I like the San Diego play at 50 over. This will be a highly emotional game. Check some of the games with playoff implications. Denver has know running game. The more you put it in the air the more turnovers. More turnover equals more points. Scared of the New Orleans pick. Carolina needs the game to get a bye. They will be fired up. New Orleans is great at home. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Atlanta doesnt know what to do when they get up by more than 10 points (literally) except hand the ball off on first and 2nd down and put Matt Ryan in 3rd and long. They should have torched the Bucs and Vikes but they try to work on the clock much to early. Maybe your right but I dont see it.

I disagree on a few, detroit gets the only win of the season here so plus 8 is a gift. No opinion on jets miami but didn't miami just play the best game of the season scoring wise in KC 10 degrees it was, it might not get any colder any place else in NFL than at arrowhead. Denver is another gift +more than a TD, who is SD that's right nobody, grant it denver will be using a fan this week at the RB position but denver covers the spread. I would lean to the lowly rams to cover 2 TD's rams been scoring a little better the past few weeks and have all weapons playing key steven jackson. and again no opinion on car saints game.

            good luck cock knocker

              AC1318,

Atlanta will blow out the Rams by 3 or 4 touchdowns. It's that serious. Denver is on skates and going downhill facing forward. Are you sure that you want to lay out your hand and help them? As far as Detroit is concerned, you have got to be kidding me. I am sure that you are joking about putting your hard earned money on them right? Green Bay has not won a game in quite a long time. No way that they lose their home close out game by less than 21 points. All of the regulars will play and they will play hard. The Lions have not played a game in the type of conditions that this game will be played in this year.

                panthers @ saints-

neither team should have trouble scoring in the dome this sunday. the panthers may be a *running" team, but they can hit plenty of big plays with homerun threats in smith/d'angelo. the saints offense is clicking as usual - and with brees eying the record, he should be in pass mode all day.

                **over**
                -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

                broncos @ chargers-

huge game on SNF for all the marbles. denver took the 1st meeting in an absolute shootout by 1 in denver - this time around i like the chargers to light up the scoreboard at home. playing very well right now, while the broncos are limping to the finish line with no defense. pts should not be an issue for either team. something like 37-21 sd.

                **chargers**
                **over**
                --------------------------------------------------------------------------

                dolphins @ jets-

jets are playing really poor right now, while the dolphins are playing very well. i love the fact that the line keeps dropping (think it is for the basic reasons i just mentioned). the same way the meadowlands helped get the giants a huge win, i think the elements + favre/jones will find a way to get the jets a huge home win.

                **jets**
                ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

                redskins @ 49ers-

singeltary will like to put his stamp on this team as a defensive oriented/run heavy team. i see him leaning heavily on gore this week, and as usual, the skins will rely heavily on portis. the skins have gone over just twice in 15 games this year (7 straight unders) while the 49ers have gone under in 4 straight. both teams try to fast forward the clock to 2009 and forget about this season with heavy ground games.

                **under**
                -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

                chiefs @ bengals-

the bengals as a favorite (0-2 ats this year)? i dont think so - love the way thigpen is playing right now, and he's a threat running or throwing the ball. LJ is healthy and Gonzalez has been all world this year - the Chiefs are 5-2 ats on the road and getting a field goal here seems like a gift. the bengals have won 2 straight as a dog, but i dont like them giving up pts.

                **chiefs**
                ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                pats @ bills-

i'm not a fan of laying pts on the road in the nfl - but that pats own buffalo in orchard park. last 4 years/wins in buffalo were by 46, 22, 28, and 14. now the pats are asked to cover a 7 point spread in a huge game for them. yeah, the inter-division dog could be playing with no pressure etc etc - but i'm banking on belichek to have these guys focused on the task at hand..

nice - love the fact that CK agrees with me on SD and the Jets - my gameplan here is to do my analysis without reading any posts from the CK Mafia - then compare our plays, while unloading on the games where there is a strong consensus from CK or some of the other savy regulars. I'm sure many of you do that already - can be so easy to get swayed in a direction by reading someone else's comments first.

                  *added play on the pats

how are you NOT on the eagles... public LOVING on the cowboys.... there's definitely a reason that the eagles are favored here... the books know that the public will be playing the boys heave here, but the eagles aren't going to get swept twice by inter division opponenets... last two years at least they've knocked the boys out late season and with 70% ont he boys, the line went from -1 to -1.5... that's my favorite play so far...

                      PHI -1

also love the bills getting points. the brtooks have kept them favored all year after their hot start and finally corrections have caught up, but i will ALWAYS take the bills as home dogs... they rarely let me down and before i started playing this way, i got burned a few times by a buddy who knew this fact. i will always rock the bills as home dogs, especially in a revenge situation. Trent and co. looked good last game and with the reverse line movement, i'm very happy rocking the bills and 7

                      BUF +7

                        Wangichu,

The Vikings are going to blow out the Giants. Nobody is playing for thr G-Men an Minnesota needs that game to have a possibility to get into the playoffs, homes!

                          Early games:

Jets-2.5 Miami doesn't like it cold

What does this even mean? They just won in 10 degree weather. Chad Pennington played his whole career in the cold. You think most of the players grew up in Miami?

                          Late game:

San Diego-8.5 Denver is about to meet the buzz saw and watch playoff games from home

Denver always wins when they are suppose to lose, and they lose when they are suppose to win. No lock here.

                                  So Godzilla,

You know I have to get you for this.. Why did you criticize my offerings and not give me your own? You are guilty of hating and not aiding.

But actually, I still like the Jets in this one, just not enough to stop me from playing the Packers heavily. I think the Packers are gonna win that one by 30 points.

So instead of playing the Jets, I will take the Cardinals-6.5 with a hook buy. What's not to like, the Seahawks beat the Jets as a straight up dog, and now have to face the Cards still reeling from 2 straight blowout losses.

My card has been altered to look like this homes,

                                  Green Bay-9.5 (hook buy)
                                  New Orleans+3.5
                                  Atlanta-13.5
                                  Cardinals-6.5 (hook buy)

                                  Chargers-7 (with 1 point buy)

The only game I like today is the Pats. If Arizona decides to play their starters then I will be all over them.

AZ will probably play its starters, they need a big win here and Whiz knows it too, if they dont show up this week they dont have to play next week anyway, bc they will loose big at home, thats why they have to find a rythm again

manning is a no play for indy so i scratch that call. gb-10 atl-14 ari-7 sd-7 balt-11 at 4pm if ne-6 loses at 1pm nba clev-10' bos-10' nickle apiece. nuff said from me. gl all my book is hedging on some of the spreads. i just locked in my 1pm games as follows:gb-11 atl-14 kc+2' ne-6 all for a nickle each. gl all also locked ari-7 for a nickle

The Lions have not played a game in the type of conditions that this game will be played in this year.
you still on SD ? I would reconsider and follow me on denver.
