    Trends in NFL Futures Wagers
I would like to know if there is a website that tracks NFL futures odds to win the 2014 Super Bowl from the middle of February of 2013 to the current date. I am particularly interested on the effect of free agency of the past 2 weeks and the change in odds for each team. I would like to track these changes through the draft next month up to the start of the regular season.

SF and SEA are the big free agency winners based on these numbers, NE holds steady, the rest lost ground.

How many bets are placed on the teams? Do favorites, NE, SF, Seattle, Baltimore get the most bets? Do less successful teams of 2012 like Jets, Arizona, and Browns get an equal number of bets? In my opinion if a team isn't attracting any bets all the sportsbook has to do is make the odds longer. This leads to my final conclusion: as for an individual game in the regular season ,the sportsbook likes to see equal bets on both sides of the betting line(favorite and underdog equal) so to in Futures Wages the Sports book likes to see all 32 teams with about equal numbers of bets on each team. Do you think this is correct?

Correct. If the sportsbook gets exactly 50-50 action on two teams, it can take the vig straight to the bank. That's the goal in theory, but in practice, there's lopsided action generating line movement. It's a delicate finesse to get balanced action and avoiding excessive risk.

Ravens will be lucky if they make the playoffs at all this year. As one major newspaper put it, "Smart money is never sentimental. Las Vegas oddsmakers know the recent history, repeating is nearly impossible, and even returning to the title game is rare".

Agreed. I think this will be a year where a top dog team wins it. Not a wildcard team, not a 10-6 team or a 5-6 seed. A 1 or 2 seed takes it.

Another thing about the Ravens is their division is very tough. I expect maybe 8-8 or 9-7 this year.

Yep. Bengals are under the radar to many who are not in the know. Count on them to make some early noise.

My main picks this year are Patriots, bengals, and falcons. I plan to throw some on the packers in about week 4 after their tough opening 3 games. I also got flyers on the Chiefs, Redskins, Colts, rams, vikings, cardinals, and panthers. Every play I have listed pays between 500 and 1000 bucks for pretty much chump change

I couldnt agree more. I got Pats vs bengals as the NFC championship. The seahawks will see a great number of injuries with all their injury prone signings and the 49ers without crabtree are not going to do it this season. Broncos are the one team I can see winning it all but I highly doubt they do. I think peytons neck might end his career earlier than we all forsee
