Exhibition games on NFL Network

I was looking at the schedule and it looks like the NFL Network is showing a lot of games, but they are almost all tape delayed. Anyone know why they aren't airing games live? I guess you could avoid seeing results and TiVo a game, but it still is stupid in my opinion...

because the local blackout restrictions.

all the NFL teams preseason games are on the local tv channels in that city in which the team resides.


i bet alot of people out there miss the old H card days, because those things got every local cities channel.
