URGENT FANTASY Q: PORTIS or STEWART???
Win this game, go to the championship for almost $200. Not a big amount, but it'd be a good return off a small investment.

This is what I got a problem with:

Portis (at CIN) vs. Stewart (vs. DEN)

Should I go with class and take Portis? Has he fully recovered? Will he get a full workload? Will the banged up Skins offense help him out? Will Portis even get a TD this game?

Will Stewart lay an egg vs. Denver as he is basically 2nd fiddle to D. Williams? If he lays an egg, it could be 40 yds and 0 TD's. Carolina has been a running beast, but would I be overreacting to the TB game? Stew only has 6 receptions so he won't be getting shit through the air...

Do I take Portis or Stewart? And what do you think the output will be for each one?

    THanks

Washingtons pass game has been pretty week, while i do think both will have big days, you gotta go with a starter, who knows when Stewarts going to be in the game, its basically a roll of the dice. I believe after the mid-week stuff Portis is out to prove why he should never ever be benched again, regardless of practice. If he goes and stinks up the joint it'll just make him look stupid so you gotta believe he's gonna give it 110, and i wouldnt be suprised if he got 2 touchdowns along with about 110 yards

      From the oddsmaker's perspective:

      WAS -7.0 / 36.5

      CAR -7.5 / 47.5

      So they're expecting a 21-14 win (+/-) vs. CIN and a 27-20 win (+/-) vs. DEN.
I don't know about Washington getting 3 Td's, but it should be a low-scoring ugly game. On the other hand, the Carolina game is expected to have a shitload of scoring opportunites... as they're avg'ing 30+ over the last 4 games and are on fire.

I can see Portis on the low end getting 60 and 15. For Stewart, I don't see him topping 80 yds. And I expect DeAngelo to ballhog all the TD's.

So in a worst case scenario I've got Portis with nearly 80 yds. And I've got Stewart with 80 yds in a best-case scenario.

      More upside for Portis, no?

Portis... he has to show out, after his comments this week.... I'd take a Rb going against Cin... even though Denver D sucks too... both teams are mailing it in... at least you have two good choices to choose from

Washington is still technically in the Wild Card hunt. After Portis' comments to Zorn, I think he's gonna get 25-30 carries in this game easy. Portis is gonna have a monster game against the pathetic Bengals D.

Done deal, then. Portis it is. Thx for the input.

I'd like a minimum of 13 pts of Clinton..... so 70 yds and a TD ... or 130 yds and no TD would do the trick.
