    Colts -17
    * With Jeff Saturday looking to play this Sun and possibly Bob Sanders -17 does not look so big?
    * It's Thursday and the Lions are not even sure who will be the QB on Sunday.
    * The Colts are aiming for their seventh consecutive win this season.
    * The Colts will also be attempting to extend their streak of double-digit victories for the last 6 years to seven.
    * Must win for the Colts.
    * During its current six-game winning streak, QB Peyton Manning has completed 145 of 212 passes for 1,471 yards with 12 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has completed 68.4 percent of his passes and has a 101.0 passer rating in those games.
    * Manning has a 2-0 career record against the Lions with nine touchdown passes, two interceptions and a 125.3 passer rating.
    * Sun, Oct 12 Baltimore W 31-3, expect the same here....

The Lions have screwed me over every time I have betted them this year. They always cover the spread when it's double digits with the exception of the Thanksgiving Day game against the Titans. I'll probably take the Lions on a teaser bet so I can get a bit more insurance. But to your point, the starting QB for the Lions on Sunday still has an injured throwing hand. This is the guy that stepped out of the end zone on his first start this year that resulted in a safety. So a complete blowout is possible.

If it does move to 18, no way the colts cover... last week was a fluke.. I know they will win, but cover (as of now) 17 is TOO much..

        take the points...

I cannot take the points with the lions, only if they were getting 28 in this one...

No reason to run up the score for the Colts. They have a short week and play again on Thursday. Lions cover at a pretty nice rate. Top twelve in Hilton contest have two DET picks, and 0 IND.

I have no doubt that the colts will win, but the question is will they win by at least 17. That is a tough call, I would stay away from teh spread on this and just take the ml in parley.
