Packers Release Charles Woodson; Raiders Reunion?
If Al Davis was still around, I'm sure OAK would make Woodson an offer. Woodson is obviously beyond his prime, so if he doesn't end his career with the Raiders, it'll be interesting to see which other team picks him up.

Why would he go back to a place where he has no shot at winning? My guess is the Ravens will give him a call, if he decides to play at all.

I believe the Pats, Broncos and Ravens will all be on the short list if Woodson decides to continue.

Someone will throw a boatload of money at him, he'll play one game and be done, the guy was always injured.

As predicted, OAK makes reunion offer to Charles Woodson. Full circle complete - Woodson signs one-year contract w/ the Raiders - a deal that includes a "$1 million base salary and is worth $4.3 million max."

Curious to see what kind of an impact on d he'll have this time around. Saying he'll have no impact is premature. Though FAR from being a play-off team, the new-look Raiders may catch some people by surprise as in not being blown out of games on a weekly basis.

The knock on Woodson has always been his injuries and it's reflected in this contract.

This late in his career, I'm gonna venture to say that CW will risk injury (again) to cash in on the incentives.

His legs are pretty much shot to play safety or on the outside anymore, Raiders should use him as a slot corner or let him play the shallow zones near the L.O.S., the guy can still tackle. Pound for pound, one of toughest to ever put on a uniform, HOF player for sure.

Agreed and a valuable guy to have in the locker room. Class act while he was in Green Bay.
