This is why we say sports betting is not a battle between you and bookmaker. It's you versus betting public. If the public was not all over on 49ers, we would not be able to pick Ravens at +190. I'm feeling sorry for his loss but 10k is not an unaffordable amount. I hope it be a lesson for him and he learn from this mistake.

Don't understand why people bet BIG on BIG games. Pumped with excitement, everybody forget money management rules and bet like maniacs.

It is also you vs. yourself. Especially when one does not have the discipline, patience, and money management skills to ride the wave correctly.
