Now I enjoy a good sports topic. Fan or not I love playing the devils advocate, for certain scenerios. But I saw this post somewhere else and thought I would bring it here, and get some opinions.
"Why would hiring Gruden be a good decision?
Considering a superbowl winning head coach has never gone to another team and won another superbowl. What makes Gruden so different that he can transcend this fact.
I'm not saying that proof that will never happen with a coach, but what I am saying is fans of teams always seem to want coaches just because the won a super bowl in the past.
Everyone sees Gruden being firey and knows that he won a superbowl and thinks its a great idea. But thats it.
Someone please enlighten me why john gruden would be any different than any other head coach in dallas.
BTW john gruden went 8-8 his first two season as a head coach."
