Hey boys.... it's the good ol playoffs!
I am an awful NFL player and this year has been no different, I was in the red about 40 units before week 17 and am currently now down just under 7u. Dexters plays are the majority to thank for last week. So as you can see, I'm not even a novice NFL player.
For wild card weekend, I wanted to shoot my card out there and get some feedback, opinions, etc. Although I have zero plays locked in these are some of my leans and reasoning.
Bengals +5 at Houston.
I'm looking at roughly a 2 or 3u play here. Texans are not playing the same football that they were at the beginning of the year and although I thought the Bengals would regress this year I was wrong and I like the type of football they are playing now. I do worry about the Bengals a little down in the trenches as the Texans d line is nasty however I like the playmakers that Dalton has and how they have been clicking. We have seen this team get beat in the air this year and I could see it again on Saturday.
On the other side of the ball, the Bengals defense has also grown up a little from last year and nothing that we have seen from schaub makes me believe he is going to have a great game. The Texans strength has been the running game and the Bengals are very capable of stopping it. The line indicates a Bengals play to me with it being similar to the line wild card wknd last year when the Texans spanked them. Seems odd that they wouldn't raise the line.
I'm going to get to my other plays later, but I'm on my cell phone right now so this will have to do for now.
