Week 17 Games - Playoff Scenarios

Post here what teams are locked into seeds and what teams need their Week 17 game to move up/make the playoffs etc.

Also share any news on teams that plan on resting their starters. Not sure why any team would do that considering how much late season momentum means in the NFL.

Bengals - Locked into 6 seed
Colts - Locked into 5 seed

The Bears (Meaningful Early Game) would be in with a win over the Detroit Lions and a loss by the Vikings.

To get the wild card, the Giants(Meaningful Early Game) need to win and hope the Cowboys, Vikings and Bears all lose.

Green Bay wins and they clinch #2 seed and get a bye

Green bay to get #2 seed- Beat Minny OR lose to Minny AND Arizona beat SF
San Fran to get #2 seed- Beat Arizona AND Minny beat GB

Wash to win division- Beat Dallss, to win Wild Card - lose to Dallas AND GB beat Minny AND Det beat Chicago
Dalls to win division - Beat Wash, only way to make playoffs.

Minny to win wild card- Beat GB OR lose to GB, AND Wash beat Dallas AND Detroit beat Chicago AND Philly beat NY.
Chicago to win wild card- Beat Detroit AND GB beat Minny
NY to win wild card- Beat Philly AND, GB beat Minny AND Detroit beat Chicago AND Wash beat Dallas.

Vikes can move to 5 seed with win over GB and Seattle loss...... If Vikes beat GB, good chance Vikes travel to GB in the first round.

Vikes can't get the 5 seed, they are 1 1/2 games behind Seattle. They lose the tiebreaker due to the loss @Seattle.

Probably more due to Houston clinging to the #1 seed with a win or maybe dropping as far as #3 with a loss.

Correct......For some reason I got Minnesota and Detroit mixed up and thought Seattle lost at Minnesota, when in reality Seattle lost at Detroit...
