lololol what a terrible stat to site. how many of those 5,000 yards have come against the prevent defense in the 4th quarter when they were down by 10+ points. I'd guess about 2500 of them.

Matt probably isnt the biggest reason they will go 4-12 , 5-11, but if you think stafford is capable of leading a team even to the conference championship, then i dont know what games you watch. he is way to inaccurate, who most throws doesnt step into his throws and throws with a side arm, resulting in a lot of inconsistency.

calvin johnson will go to waste in detroit just like barry did.

That's funny, there are currently alot(and have been in the past) "shit" teams in the NFL and this mark has still only ever been hit by 4 people in history.

Blaming the Lions poor seasons on Stafford is ridiculous.

They don't have a running back or a secondary. When Jahvid Best was healthy last year THey WERE 5-0! Best hasn't played since and they have struggled to replace him. This league is all about passing and they can't defend the pass with that joke of a secondary. Best might end up being Eric Lindros and never get over his concussion issues so they have to find a replacement and they have to do what the Cowboys did and patch up that secondary through the draft and free agency.

Passing yards are meaningless in today's NFL

Just look at his y/a and you know he sucks along with his qb rating.

Why not just pass it a 1000 times next year and hit 7000 yards. Greatest QB ever.
