I've heard stress levels can get extremely high for losing teams. With the Chiefs, a lot of players' jobs are on the line. I'm sure this played a part to some extent. Sucks for the team, fans, family. They'll probably have to take a step back (and I'm sure the team will be bringing in therapists just to talk to players as I'm sure a lot of them are pretty upset right now).

Im from KC ... Very sad.. absolutely no history of any issues... very quiet kid... just exploded and lost it.. left behind a 2 month old daughter... Im sure more details to follow. How in their right mind could anyone play this game tomorrow?.. committed suicide in parking lot of practice field in front of coaches..

nfl doesnt want it but i think it would be best to cancel tmws game. kc is gonna be shaken up big time and many players and coaches are probably not in the right state of mind.

not tryin to sound like an asshole but why are people giving their condolences and saying "RIP" for this guy especially if you didn't even know him or the families? He is a murderer who left his 3 yr old daughter parentless... I have no idea what his problems were and of course a fukked up situation but this is like the most selfish thing someone could do...

A woman is killed by her significant other every 6 days on average.. in Canada. I imagine that stat is higher for US. Very sad news..

IMO, If the story was a little different and the guy just committed suicide then yeah, you can cancel the game, be sad about it, and so on... But Jesus leaving a two-three month yo daughter and MURDER your girlfriend ??? are you kidding me? this is psychopathic move and I wish he would of just kill himself without hurting anyone else during the process =// SICK & Sad news.

Ive talked to Zach Thomas and he said most of these players are jacked up off painkillers, "steroids"....cortisone ...shit like that. Some of them become mentally unstable...
