Ive always thought K man was a good draft choice since he has a lot of aspects to his game that he brings to the table, strong arm, mobility, option...etc....all on display in a good system for him at Nevada, but in my opinion a big aspect that people forget is the Bears O-line has been bad or below average for a 2-3 yrs and they continue to struggle in that area and that was a big part of the game tonight that might go overlooked, regardless Kaepernick looked solid and made many quality throws.

Kaepernick played a good game. He had time to throw and when he got pressured he had the speed to run out of the pocket and avoid getting sacked. I like what i saw but lets face it, he has to play a few more games to get the praise he is getting. The kid can play but some people are way to quick to give respect especially when he hasn't even played away from home yet.

machine choice i respect this post. i've seen some good picks and write ups, and some i disagreed with. kaepernick was the wilcard and he played like a champ. i went with the niners simply because of their hyped up prime time defense and because i could never ever put my money in the hands of jason campbell mixed with the bears o-line. good luck next time.
