    How Good is Kaepernick ?
I don't think I've ever watched him play....

What is he good at ? What's his strengths/weaknesses ?

Is he a future starter somewhere in the NFL ?

Is he better or worse than Campbell ?

Campbell is probably one of the better backups in the league. You could argue he could compete for a starting job in a couple of teams. I have seen way too little of Kaep to know, but from what I've seen SF are in deep sh1t.

Kaep has promise, but he does a lot with his legs. I don't see him doing much with them this game. His first ever start, and he has Briggs and Urlacher staring him down, and Tillman chasing his WRs. Campbell isn't amazing, but he's a vet. I guarantee you he's not shitting bricks like Kaep is right now.

Harbaugh is a QB coach first and foremost. He turned Alex Smith into a upper tier QB (not great, admittedly). He has has a full week to prepare. He knows exactly what Kaep can do.

Kaep has great mobility. I believe SF game plan will be just what the doctor ordered.

Kaepernick has a really high ceiling, but he's raw. He was the first player to ever achieve 10,000 passing and 4,000 rushing yards in a college career (3.5 seasons starting), albeit in the Mountain West conference. He's a little weaker in passing accuracy than Smith, but a greater danger to break the pocket and run the ball if he's not accounted for by the Bears LBs as they focus on Gore. His greatest weakness in this game is going to be in his lack of reps affecting his timing with receivers against an extremely opportunistic defense, however he does have the arm strength to bomb downfield and create opportunities for his receivers to make plays / draw penalties as the opportunity arises.

Campbell is going through the same issues but had a full week of certainty that he would be starting and has much more experience overall. Campbell should play smarter, but Kaep has more big play potential.

Hes not a starting QB IMO - hes a package guy- great athlete and can run but he stares down his receivers and thinks he can scramble his way out if every situation - IMO he aint ready to take on the bears d unit on a few days notice i got the bears + 8

Bears aggressive pursuit could work against them facing a guy like Kaepernick.
Harbaugh may throw in some gadget plays for him.
Campbell better play a lot better than he did against the Texans

Kapernick is complete garbage. Good wheels, ok arm, but TERRIBLE accuracy. This game has no play written all over. 2 crappy qbs vs 2 top tier defenses. Won't even bet the under bc there's a good chance for a lot of turnovers
