What have the Lions done that makes 90% of the forum like them? I understand there are injuries on the defensive side for the Packers but don't the Packers still have a superior QB and offense that can out score the Lions? I just don't get all the love for the Lions. I guess the angle is they're "due" for a breakout offensive game?

Packers are a good play here, I just don't know how much I wanna put on it.
They are used to playing with injuries...hell they made their Super Bowl run with about 1000 of them. Lions will be able to score but the heart of this matchup lies in Packers O vs Lions D. Unless the Pack give away the ball at the wrong time they should be fine to cover 3.
Last year GB beat this team twice with only 53 and 73 yards rushing. The second time was with Matt F'ing Flynn playing and he hung 45 points on them in a shootout.
I still gotta do more analysis but I think this line is an overreaction to GB's injuries. Can't conceivably see why GB wouldn't cover 3 here.Comment -

i know plenty of ppl on gb, had no idea the forum was so 1 sided with det,,,i know ive seen several post about taking gb well before yours, trust me this isnt only thread with gb as a pick...i have no opinion really, det a tough team to figure out, they undisciplined poorly coached team, but they can beat or lose to pretty much anyone....besides the defensive injuries im not so sure the bye was at a good time for pack as they were really hitting their stride and we've seen a bye get them out of sink before...never know what you gonna get from a desperate det team, neither team winning would really surprise me... easy pass..Comment -

Stafford is bad in home games against the packers and also a bye week helps every team. Packers have something to play for (division) while the lions need this win so badly if they want a kind of hope for the playoffs but a badly coached team can't focus and doesn't use pressure they way it should be used: as a motivator for great play. The lions will use the pressure to play aggressive which is wrong. With the packers the more talented squad i can't see why not taking them especially with the incosistent play on offense by the lions. I guess we'll see a shootout but it's not a good idea to engage in such when the oppoenent are the packers.

What do yards have to do with who the better QB is? Taking care of the football is one, if not THE, most important thing for a QB, and Rodgers is simply the best at taking care of the football. Stafford??? Not so much.
