NFL offenses are yet again setting record numbers this year.. The few times I actually post on here I've been complaining but no one really talks about it..
Why are all the rules in place set to favor the offense? Example a team could be in 3-20 situation, a pass rusher accidentally has his hand slip up to the olines face mask.. Boom automatic first down. Dline mans hands hit a qbs helmet boom 15 yards 1rst down. Defensive PI is called probably atleast an average of twice a game yet we might go a week in the NFL and zero offensive PI's are called. Defensive holdings another thing these guys can be 3rd and 25 throw a 5 yard pass which has a 2% chance of converting turns into 5 yards automatic first down.
Enough ranting though, do you guys think the rules in the NFL almost make it ten times harder to play D in the NFL than it should be?
