    football stats are MISLEADING - don't look at them
    most NFL stats are misleading.

    for example. a defense passing yards against- you look at it and say wow this team gave up over 500 yards last game.

    but

    it didn't say that a player fell an the receiver ran for 90 yards.

    it doesn't suggest a WR pushed off and there was no penalty on a 50 yard passing play.

    it doesn't show a trick play, or a play where the defense didn't try cause they thought the play was whistled.

    it doesn't tell you sub players late in the game.




    well this is why stats are misleading.
