"The Safety" is the stupidest rule in the NFL.
I am watching the PIT game.. I am mad now.. I want PIT to win. I have em -3.5. SD has ball on 3rd and long from own 1.. next play, he gets sacked in end zone.. I was pissed.. i get 2 pts and now trail 7-2 and SD punt from own 20 now.. I end up with ball on own 8 and down 7-2.
Had they not sacked him.. SD would be punting ball from deep deep in end zone and i'd probably have ball on SD 32 yd line instead and down 7-0..
What do you prefer, down 7-0 on SD 32?
OR
down 7-2 and on own 8?
Am i the only one that hates getting safety instead of having team punt from deep end zone? I'll take the deep end zone punt instead of 2 measly pts.
I think this safety rule is silly.. Do you agree?
