    Sorry for another thread about books getting destroyed but....
    At the end of the third quarter of the early NFL games on Sunday, Las Vegas Hotels Super Book vice president Jay Kornegay knew he needed more money at the front of the sportsbook.


    The link above is to an article on espn that had me laughing the whole way through. This line basically did it for me "
    The exposure for the sportsbooks doesn't occur with individual game bets, it comes in parlays, where bettors put together many bets on one card. Win them all and it pays off big. "

    The entire article felt more like an ADVERTISEMENT for the riches that can come w/ sports betting and PARLAYING. Which we all know stringing together picks on a parlay will is a bad thing to do longterm. The last line appears to be aimed at those who have been hit hard by the economy "We're lucky the economy stinks and we're not taking the same types of bets we were four or five years ago".
