Getting the Best Out Of Accuscore
Looking at the Accuscore ratings for NFL, it seems to me that:

    (i) they are pretty good - a good guide for a bet when they are, say, three points or more from the line with their rating

(ii) notwithstanding the first point, they tend to over-value heavy favourites (that is, for example, to commonly claim that a heavy favourite is a good bet but not often that a big dog is a good bet)

(iii) so tentatively, I would recommend a system that took their pick when it was three or more points from the line AND it was not a more-than-seven-point favourite. This week that looks like DET-4, CHI-3.5, PITT+3.5, NO-3, based upon espn.com Insider information.

Opinions and comments most welcome on these points, and how to get the best out of Accuscore in general.

    .

    4-0, not bad!

However, would still appreciate any feedback about how to get the best out of Accuscore - perhaps get a discussion going - many have got ESPN Insider for the basic ratings, I presume?

    Cheers.
