I was lucky enough to watch Ditka play at Wrigley in the early/mid 60's when my dad had season tickets. He was quite a player and fit that team's persona to a tee. Included in this highlight reel from the 63' season is Ditka's famous catch and run Vs. Pittsburgh (the game the weekend after the Kennedy assassination) that enabled the Bears to tie the game and eventually beat out the Packers (who they finally beat twice that year) for 1st place and a trip to the conference championship game Vs. the Giants. I was at that game and froze my 11-year-old ass off. Anyway ....
