He won a super bowl with a dominant defense, he was also considered an "offensive genius" merely because he was an OC with Randy Moss in his prime. The guy is overrated.

I say bring back Wayne Fontes. Yes, I am serious. He has been the most successful coach for the Lions since the 1950's.

I have been a Lions fan for over 30 years and his coaching era has been the only era that was fun. Yes, Barry Sanders was there, but the Lions also had other great players like Herman Moore, Brett Perriman, Johnny Morton, Chris Spielman, Mel Gray, Lomas Brown and many more.
