New to betting have a question about a teaser for week 9
Hello, I am new to sports betting online, I have done it through my friend, but this is the first time I am doing it online on Bet365. I have set-up a teaser which is a 7 point teaser which includes Houston -3, Denver +4, Tampa +8, and Pittsburgh +10.5.

I am thinking of putting $1000 on this, which pays out $2000. Do you guys think this has a very good chance of hitting?

Teasers like that always look good on paper. If your using bet365, do a 6.5 teaser with DEN +3.5 and TB +7.5 (already was thinking this), and a 7pt teaser with HOU and PIT. Put $500 on each. That would be your best play IMO. I went big on a 6p teaser with SF & CHI last week (week 7), didn't really like yeterday so was gonna tease SF and MIA (NBA), instead took them parlayed ML. Go Heat!!

Hey! Thanks a lot for your advise. I really like the DEN +3.5 and TB +7.5 teaser, I think it should definitely hit. I will probably just stick with this and put $1000 on it.

amrit i have played teasers for yrs. found that if you have n teams 4 here in your case it will come out as n-1 teams i.e 3/4 will hit

Your teaser looks decent, but I wouldn’t put 1000 dollars on it. If you are going to pick more than 2 teams on a teaser, don’t put large amount of money. I normally play like 4 team teasers with maximum 100 bucks. For 2 teams, you can risk more.

honestly, a 2 team parlay would be better odds. BAL -3.5 and TAM +1.5 looks good @ +260

Some solid advice here. Oldest conventional wisdom on teasers is to cross two key numbers, usually the 3 and the 7 like you are doing w/ TB. Crossing the 3 twice like with Denver is solid, or landing on it like with Houston if push is NOT a loss (idk what Bet365 does for pushes). Crossing 7 and 10 is pretty good too with Pittsburgh.

I would say this looks pretty good, but I would say if you're going to miss $1000 to do something like split it up like Deol said and bet something smaller, or just bet less in general. If you are going to throw most of your roll on one bet, I doubt your post count hits 10 on here.
