Not a Fan of hedging, but

On a bit of a streak and usually will let these ride. Still might, but the number on the last leg of a 7 team 6 pt teaser gives me many advantages to hedge. Seems silly to ignore.

Here's the deal. I have the Broncos + 7 1/2 as my final pending play. Bet $100 to win $1,112. Damn, I love that Seven with the hook. I think the Broncos win this straight up, but? Tell me if I'm missing anything. Lots of brews consumed today.

I can grab the Chargers at - 6 1/2 + 217.

Lay $350 on Chargers - 6 1/2 to win $659 ( $759 - 100 ) Chargers win by 8 or more

Broncos + 7 1/2 Wins $762 (1112 - $350) Broncos win or lose by 6 or less

Roll with Broncos + 7 1/2 $1112 or zero

Opportunity to win both sides if Chargers win by a touchdown on the 7.

It seems foolish, but I'm tempted to let it ride. Gambling is streaky and I had many powerful angles that pointed me to Broncos on Monday night. I like it at +1 , love at + 7 1/2

I would hedge on different numbers, but like I said + 7 1/2 is causing me to second guess.

Even with Manning getting + 7 1/2 ? Rookie qb for sure, but Peyton solid in these situations.

CLE+9, ATL -3 (push), BAL+3.5, PHI+3.5, NE+3, BUF+10.5, NYG+13 and SD+7.5.

Think I'ma do a small hedge with DEN-3.5 (+150) and hopefully try to middle or should I wait for a good live spot. Can't decide...

I actually do like the broncos and most likely will make a small play on the ML THAT BEING SAID.. at the end of the night its a MNF game and anything can happen and things "strangely" dont go as planned... lol honestly no one knows wtf is going to happen (THATS WHY THEY PLAY THE GAME TO FIND OUT) so i would 100% take the 350$ chargers play and make sure peyton doesnt throw your 800$ out the fkn window!!

Tough call on the teasers where the number is inflated. There's a reason they call them teasers though, because they always look sweet on paper . Comes down to what the payout is. Four digit payouts usually grab my attention. I know I should hedge, but ?

Why did you pick that last game on the parlay in the first place if you now are planning ot hedge it? It's like handing the bookie free money...

Unless something has changed your view dramatically on the game and you no longer see it as a good bet you should not ev er hedge in that position, EVER.

Asked for advice and spoke specifics. Only fair to go on record with my decision. Broncos were one of my top picks this week. On a 6pt teaser @ Broncos + 7 1/2 , well it looked golden. We'll see how this works out. Maybe some will learn from my decision, or mistake.

Hedge placed. Only 3 things can happen. Broncos cover, I'm a wus. Chargers win, smart. Chargers win by 7, lucky.

Chargers - 6 1/2 hedge (wins) + $531

Chargers - 6 1/2 hedge (loses) + $834

The fact that I could middle the 7 was attractive. If somehow the Chargers can win by Exactly 7, both bets win!

I didn't hedge. But the hedge I was going to do woulda lost anyway, Bet365 had DEN winning margin 1 to 9 at some ridiculous number at half. I thought I was good. Rattled but its the NFL, actually had worse beats than this. Next week SF and GB teaser for a boatload (gonna chase hard)

That was a crazy game. At first I was glad I hedged. Then I started thinking I had a shot on the Chargers winning by 7. Then that unbelievable comeback. Wow.

If I had it to do over, I'd do it again.
