I won't touch this game but i wouldn't put too much faith in NYG. I love NYG but i feel like the 49ers will win for some reason.

49ers got abused by the Vikings D-line and they will get worked again by the G-men.!

the thing about the Giants is they have a complete team,no weaknesses.

but another thing about the Giants is they dont come to play every week. they are rooster and arrogant and dont come out focused every game, especially at home during 1pm games.

this will be a nationally telivised game and you know eli manning is all about getting attention which is why he demanded to play for NY in the 1st place. i think the giants come out angry and beat the 49ers at their own game. they will out physical the 49ers and force turnovers.

      the d-line will dominate

i also like the g-men... they seem to play very well in candlestick.. and niners really havnt been tested yet... they only played 1 team with a winning record.. and lost..(vikings)... they played green bay which this team doesnt even look like the team from last year who are winless on the road..the lions.. who are mess and last place in thier division... and the jets and bills.... we all know how bad they are.. fighting for last place ...g-men roll....

Seems like fact cherry picking and unfounded conjecture here. 49ers clearly the more complete team now, bigger "statement" game for them with revenge factor and the Giants have played an easier schedule with 3 of 5 at home to boot. Cleveland, Carolina and Tampa have 2 wins among them, Dallas and Philly are 3-4 if you take out their wins over the Giants.

I was looking forward to this game, I had it circled as a probable bet. I always love betting the Giants on the ML as a road dog, very profitable. What worries me is that with Chris Canty out the DL has been atrocious, no pressure what so ever on the QB. This combined with just about every player in the secondary being injured some way or another is devastating for the NYG defense.

IF the NYG DL steps it up and becomes the DL of playoffs last year come Sunday I agree this is a good bet. But who knows, that would be a big gamble counting on them doing so, against a OL that is better than any of the OLs they've faced so far this year.

I already took a big chunk NYG for the SB at +3800 and +4000 so I probably just should stay off this game. Getting this win would be huge for NYG advancing to 4-2, ideally they need 6-2 before game vs PIT. No other team has a sched as hard as NYG and the ending to the sched is scary.

Minnesota didn't beat the Niners cause of their D line. Minnesota had 3 drives in a row on offense of around 80 yards. Ponder was tough for the Niners D to corral and he made them pay. The Vikes also ran the ball consistently finally ripping runs late in game.

On offense the Niners also switched up their game plan and it backfired. Alex was inaccurate then SF had to play from behind because they couldn't stop the Viking offense. Maybe I missed something but I don't really remember the Vikings d line doing much. Green Bay's D line had a much better game against San Francisco then Minnesota. Minnesota also had a special teams return for a touchdown that took the life out of the Niners.

Best of luck with that New York play.

there no way part of your argument is "nyg is the complete team here"..ccmon man,,sf is bout as complete as it gets..personally think this gm more important to sf than nyg, we all know nyg better on road but they also better late in the season and it all well and good whipping shit teams when you hurt but "out-physical" sf in sf when they the healthier group in a gm they prob circled since dude muffed that punt? i doubt it..i honestly doubt i bet this gm but think id tease sf down if i did...

When in doubt, giants come through.. Value is with g-men ml because its anyone's game. Eli and the giants show up big in this game when it matters most .. Revenge factor doesn't matter, this isn't a playoff game. It's regular season and have to play the situational angle of giants here

really cant argue value on g-men, i wouldnt pay that price on frisco as i think like most nfl gms it prob closer to coinflip than most ppl believe...that said i dont know why revenge isnt a factor? revenge is always a factor (im kinda sinister i guess),,what th4e situational angle? that nyg good on road or that they show up when doubted? not sure they really being questioned, are they? honest question...

San Fran has not been tested this year. Their pass game is barely a factor. + money with the more balanced team that thrives under pressure. National tv game boosts Eli's game too.

once again i think calling nyg more balanced is comical,,, so there is no situational angle? just say so then,,...

49ers for the win. If Giants are 10 times better on the road, the 49ers are 100 times better at home and STILL 50 times better on the road. SF revenge and momentum wins this one.

I'm just going to post my section from Week 6 teaser plays, and 49ers is my lock of the week:

San Francisco Tease to -.5 (LOCK). 49ers are on a roll and many analysts pick SF as THE #1 team right now based on their playing. They got a wake-up vs. a solid Vikings team on the road and have manhandled their last 2 opponents allowing a total of 3 points while also setting an NFL record 300+ yards passing and 300+ yards rushing in the same game. Alex Smith is playing highly efficient football with a league best 108.7 passer rating. Giants record is 3-2 off of an easy schedule and they still have Nicks out. 49ers have allowed 1 100+ yard rusher in the past 43 games which doesn't bode well for Bradshaw. More concerning is their defense is much less reliable than last year. Also note that the Giants' opponents have a combined 7-15 win/loss record. The last huge point is motivation. The Giants cost the 49ers a trip to the Super Bowl in a 20-17 overtime loss and haven't forgotten. I think San Francisco is looking to crush this week.

If you bet this game, bet with your head and not with your heart. Nothing wrong with being a fan of either side, but it feels like there's a lot of heart-betting out there. Please be cautious guys.

This should be a fun game to watch and I wouldn't bet against S.F. with the way they've been playing. Granted it was Buffalo last week but S.F. dominated that game and it looks like their passing game is starting to roll into high gear now on top of the other stuff they have. It's questionable whether Eli can put big #'s up against the 49'ers D and the Giants are traveling across the country to play in a very tough park. S.F. does not turn the ball over.

I prefer S.F. via the tease but probably wouldn't give up the straight points, "just in case" it is closer than I think.

funny how people here talk about the high flying high gear offense of the niners and how dominating they look on defense against these no playoff scrubs teams..and putting up qb ratings of alex smith and how alex smith is going to dominate the game... and crush the g-men this week...and to top it all off sounding so confident in the niners.. they want to back it up with a tease bet... what a joke.....

Take the $100 you were going to ml on the giants, and lite it on fire. It will Save you 3 hours wondering why you took the Giants in the first place.

                                                            Crow

Big Bear and Giants ML backers, Ive come to eat crow. New York was the money line play. I still cant believe it played out how it did, but New York dominated. San Francisco more or less laid down at home and gave it up without a fight.

The crazy thing is I like to hunt moneyline dogs. This game in my opinion had little to no chance for a straight up New York win. Nice call.
