lets be honest about cam and panther offense...besides the saints gm which shouldnt mean much seeing how my nephews pop warner team could light up that d..panthers offense has been terrible, 1st at tampa and then against nyg, i have a hard time thinking they get it right against atl underrated d... bottom line is matty ice dont lose at home and this is a very good team, i could def see a cam backdoor as Smith tends to lay off the gas once atl gets lead and Cam loves padding his numbers so the spread does scare me, but i have a hard time not thinking atl is the safest teaser option of the week,,i guess thing for me is i dont like taking dogs that i dont think can win and i have serious doubts that car can win that gm...

i hear you but look at it like this atl goes out and scores on its 1st 2 drives and car does as well its 14-14 2nd qtr and from there it slows down and then picks up round the end of the 3rd going into the 4th basically what im saying is atl has just blown teams out the water the 1st 3 gms eventually a team is gonna keep them close early and make them work for the gm and i beleave car will be that team atl's gonna have a letdown eventually and what a better team to take lighty then the petty azz panther who just got blurred by the giants trust me the +7 is safe

It does seem like a lot of points to give up against a team with a QB -- Newton -- who is such a wildcard, along with that offense. But last week was the first chance I had to watch Carolina/Newton in the NFL and let's just say, they were really underwhelming, all around. Newton did nothing to individually compensate for the general offensive weakness and they gave up plenty of scores. Of course that was against a pretty good Giants team but it also was at home. I thought the replacement refs were supposed to have at least one home team fan on the crew.

Atlanta has looked very good on both sides of the ball and is returning home after a very nice victory against the Chargers and Rivers, allowing only 3 points - in spite of a chronic Charger's case of Norvitis, that's pretty good Vs. the Chargers offense. 7 points can be a lot or a little depending on how the game plays out but I have Atlanta -1 on my small teaser list for the weekend.

Like ATL as well but this game is one that I understand the TD spread. Some games with players like Newton almost automatically make it a TD line dif. Cheers
