How do I calculate money lines? I noticed that if a team money line is -140 will never win most of the time, like the Redskin versus Steelers today. I could be wrong, but will someone help? Thanks.

A team that is -140 is favored to win the game. The payout for every $100 wagered is 100/140 x $100 = $71.43
So -140 means 100/140.
