prob be a pick where most like the dirty birds after they crushed their peyton manning dreams on mnf (happy to have been on atl in that one)...
dont care that sd has played mediocre teams thus far as i watched them throughout preseason and i noticed one very big thing that has held true so far, this front 7 is getting after ppl!
falcons struggle defending the edge and Ryan is a bottom of the pack qb when facing pressure which i am sure he will have a lot of in this gm, anyone notice how quick he was to get out of dodge when den ends got the edge? atl run gm hasnt really been there as of yet and i dont expect it to be good enough to slow down sd d here, screen gm with rodgers may be problematic at times but that only gonna get you so far..i love the combo of julio and white (even tho jones had a case of the dropsies on mon night) but how deep they gonna get if ryan does not have time?
on the other side of ball mathews is good and ready to go, not as if he had any sort of leg problem so i expect a full workload which is great cause i think this where you wanna attack that d atl is playing right now, den had some gaping run lanes in that gm but between their desire to throw and then subsequently being down early they really couldnt stick with it, sd wont go down early and will pound it early and often with mathews and the 2 battering rams coming off the bench which will open up play action for rivers who is back to playing like the top 8 qb he is in this league... as i said before the den game i thought atl would play inspired even with the loss of grimes which while isnt a huge deal in their base sets but is gonna be a problem when teams go 3 wide which norv will do quite a bit if not only to get atl playing that ps3 d to cover up the fact their nickle is greatly weakened then just gash them with runs with mathews..
love this atl team to compete for the nfc championship but after notching a give me road win vs the surprisingly bad chiefs and getting a huge mnf win against the overhyped broncos i think this the road gm where a little dose of reality kicks in as sd can do the things i think will cause atl to struggle..give me the home team who tends to win gms in bunches playing a team that everyone now loves a little more than they should on the road imo...lets call it 27-20 superchargers...
grabbed this one early as i think the line a little short and expect to see -3.5 before gmtime...
