    Respectfully disagree with LT
Heres what I am looking for in this games and why Steelers have just as much to play for:

    1. The Steelers look to improve to 32-43-4 all-time against the Redskins.
    2. The Steelers look for their first win over an NFC opponent this year.
    3. The Steelers look to improve to 4-1 on the road this year.
    4. The Steelers look for their fourth straight win over the Redskins in the series history and their first win on the road against Washington since a 14-7 victory in 1964.

    5. More noticeable for me is the Steelers are looking for their fourth straight win on Monday Night Football.

    QB Ben Roethlisberger
    • Needs 304 yards passing to move past Kordell Stewart (13,328 yards) into second place on the team’s all-time passing yardage list. Roethlisberger currently has 13,025 passing yards.
    • Needs six touchdown passes to become just the second quarterback in team history to throw 100 career touchdown passes (Terry Bradshaw - 212). Roethlisberger currently has 94 career touchdown passes.

    WR Hines Ward
Needs one 100-yard receiving game to move into sole possession of second place on the team’s all-time receiving list. He currently has 16, which is tied with Louis Lipps (1984-91). Needs 431 yards from scrimmage to reach 10,000 total yards for his career. He currently has 9,539 total yards from scrimmage (9,143 receiving, 426 rushing).

RB Willie Parker is going to play tonight. he only needs 79 total yards from scrimmage to move into 10th place on the team’s all-time list. Parker currently has 5,081 total yards from scrimmage.
He Needs one rushing touchdown to move into a tie for eighth place for rushing touchdowns on the team’s all-time list with Rocky Bleier. Parker currently has 22 rushing touchdowns.
I believe LT is thinking to much here on this game. The fact is the Steelers have just as much to prove here is no less than the Skins. To admit the Steelers are the better team is where you may have stopped and picked them on that basis.

So I respectfully disagree here LT and see the Skins getting skinned tonight with a more healthy Steelers with Parker and Moss Back.

    Respectfully!

Some info found on Steelers web site.

Skins haven't faced a defense that smashes them in the mouth since week 1 at the Giants, and they were never in that game.

you really think those above things figure into the steelers motivation tonight?

Tomlin's pregame speech is gonna make reference to that lack of a win in washington since 1964.... Guys we are only 32-43-4 all time against the skins (by the way, they tied 4 times????) we need to get our career wins within 10 games of our career losses!!!!!

NOW LET'S GO OUT THERE AND GET THEM TONIGHT... 33-43-4 HERE WE COME!!!

I agree steelers might have more reasons to be UP for the game...but not for those reasons..

I can never bet on Big Ben on the road. He's just way too inconsistent for me.

A plus for hte Steel is that the Skins are T-29th in the NFL in sacks so Big Ben may have more time than last week vs. NYG to find his receivers. Plus Fast WP will keep them honest with the run as well.

                  True and correct.

Not sure why the Skins are getting to much credit here. Take the Steelers and watch them win
