Best way to track bets and what to track?
What is the best and easiest way to track bets? Is it to do it via Excel, in a notebook or via some software program (if so, what)? So far I have been keeping track in Excel although I don't think my spreadsheet is setup that well.

What sort of categories should I be breaking stuff down into? So far I am breaking it down into individual sports, although should I also break it down further into whether it was a ml, line, total wager etc? I'm just not sure what the best way to do this is and link all these in together so it still becomes manageable?

      Hi Jim -

If you look near the top of the page (next to your inbox and points), you'll see a feature called Spreadsheet that quite a few of us use. You can enter plays by sport, type of bet, sportsbook, etc... And then you can sort your results by sport if you want to get a clearer picture of how you're doing.

Is that public so that everyone can see it though? I would rather keep it private.

Yes, it's public. Maybe use it as a guideline for your own Excel sheet if you don't want to use the SBR one?
