Hey everyone, Gomyr here in Las Vegas. Whether you believe it or not, I am not only new to the forum, but I am almost 100% BRAND SPANKIN' new to sports and sports betting. I am 43 years old, never had any interest in sports before in my life, and never made a bet on ANY sport until 3 weeks ago.
The local bar I go to has a free NFL parlay contest where the person who gets the most picks wins $100. You can enter one card per day, so I went online each day and googled "NFL week X picks" and used a different site for each day's picks. In the first four weeks I won twice. Figured I'd take to the BIG TIME and decided to put all the picks that were unanimous among all my sources and put them on a parlay card.
Using this system I have played parlays for the past three weeks and well, let's just say the Cowboys and the Colts are on my shit list right now. I'm still ahead from the freebie cards, but I think I might have the bug. Now I need to learn what this is all about and make some intelligent, informed decisions regarding picks and betting.
I look forward to the experience, hopefully it will prove to be profitable.
