rare? I notice it's usually hard to determine who will win between the -110 and the +110 teams, but with -2200 and +400 it's more obvious who the real favorite is and the highly likely winner will be.

Of course it's hard to determine. If it would be easy to determine no one could win at sports, couse everybody would know which side contains more profit. Everybody obviously can't make profit on sports, couse sportsbooks will fail in making profit, so thanks god it's hard to determine.

Yes, generally you will see far fewer wins by the team with the increasing + number. But as Tomahawk rightly points out, there is no guarantee as we've all seen remarkable upsets no doubt.....
