is there a reason behind this? Or moneyline wagers are placed on game day or a few hours before game time? I could have won the Steelers vs. Panthers game if I had wagered on the moneyline since it was clear the Steelers would win, but there was no option but to wager on “team total” and "spread" wagers (I betted on under -26 for Steelers), but they won 27-3 against Panthers, therefore I lost my bet. It was 1 point off though. LOL. I should have taken the bet for "over" + 26 points. I won the under -14 spread though for Steelers, since a 27-3 win is under 14 points difference.

it depends on where you play at, but the moneyline on that game was Pitt -800. Not a good value bet.
